There is no greater calling than to raise up the next generation of worshippers and followers of Christ.
Deuteronomy 6:7 says, "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." (NKJV)
Our desire at Warrior Notes is to equip and empower you, the parents, in this esteemed endeavor. Therefore, Warrior Notes is pleased to offer our comprehensive sixth grade homeschool curriculum, including Bible, Math, English Language Arts and Reading, Science, and History.
"And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of God's hidden secrets, and if I possessed unending supernatural knowledge, and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains, but have never learned to love, then I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2 (TPT)
6th Grade History covers American history and picks up where fifth grade left off, beginning with a review of America around the time of the Civil War, and takes students on a journey through American history from the mid-1800s up to the present time. Culture Day lessons and projects bring history to life by immersing students in creative, engaging, and hands-on activities as they see and experience history. Each day's lesson is presented as a narrative, an answer to a topical question, or a record of God’s interaction with people in America.
In writing these lessons, care was taken to highlight the roles that Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Christian leaders had in shaping America’s culture, beliefs, history, and development as One Nation Under God.
Includes:
-
The American Civil War and America’s Challenges and Changes after the Civil War
